BET Awards 2010: Performances

The 10th Annual BET Awards were held tonight at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. Kanye West made his comeback and opened the show by performing his new single Power, Alicia Keys [& her unborn child] got wild on top of her piano and Patti LaBelle kicked off her shoes for Prince. Nicki Minaj won Best Female Hip Hop Artist (and later revealed, via twitter that she won Best New Artist), performed twice and went through a mini-series of outrageous fierce outfit changes. So many surprises and high points during the show. One in particular that I think stole, pretty much, everyone's heart, was Chris Brown's much anticipated Michael Jackson tribute. Breezy performed to a medley of The Way You Make Me Feel, Remember The Time, Smooth Criminal & Billie Jean before giving us an extremely emotional performance of Man In The Mirror. It was nothing less than epic and it definitely made me choke up. Chris also took home the "AOL Fandemonium Award" for having the die-hardest fans (me being one of them), beating out Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber. He thanked everyone for their support and went on to say "I let ya'll down before, but I won't do it again. I promise."

I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this year's show. The performances were fun and I was really moved by the tributes and dedications. Get into the performances below! *Performances will be added as I retrieve them.* :)
